A: The soup, definitely the soup. Programs are the noodles, that’s what most people think of first. But the soup is what makes everything come together and really define the ramen itself. The Y without charitable giving becomes a commercial enterprise. Ramen without soup, is essentially a plate of pasta.

A: I know, right?
Q: Any final pieces of advice for our campaigners?
A: Campaign is a really great opportunity to experience the power of community. We tend to underestimate the amount of good will out there and sometimes think too modestly of our impact but there are plenty altruistic people who have great faith in the work that we do.
Campaign with conviction and we’ll all be enjoying a hearty bowl of ramen at the end of the road!
